Introduction

 

This is the space where I record my journey of becoming a designer and where I express my feelings and thoughts. I am an aspiring interior designer as well as a fine artist. Here, I am sharing my works, inspirations, design strategies, philosophies and anything that sparks my curiosity and interest.

Design Philosophy

I once learned that "creativity is dependent upon things that exist outside of the self." Artists do not simply create their works from scratch. Instead, they take from various aspects of the world - from material goods to concepts of different cultures - and express them in their own ways. They are creative because they are able to put different mediums and concepts together through their experience.

Being creative means to establish a balance: balance between new & old, emotions & logic, perfections & flaws, positives & negatives, different cultures, colors and such. It is about drawing connections between these elements and how they are harmoniously communicating with one another, yet also making it special at the same time.

This is what I am trying to achieve in my art and design. I want to tell a special story in every space or on every canvas through my skills and experience. As a aspiring designer and artist, I still have a long way to go, but I am continuously challenging myself to be inspired, to be experienced, and to be more creative.
